Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026
At Drippp (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our video and audio downloader (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Service, you consent to the practices described here. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
1. Privacy Principles
- We collect only information needed to run and improve the Service.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- Our practices are described plainly in this policy.
2. What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to information gathered when you access or use Drippp on this instance. It does not apply to third-party websites, platforms, or services whose content you choose to download. Those services have their own privacy policies.
Drippp does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have received information from a child under 13, contact the operator of this instance so it can be removed.
3. Information We Collect
Information we may collect falls into two broad categories: usage data and content you submit.
3.1 Information you provide
- URLs you paste — needed to fetch and convert media.
- Format and quality choices — such as MP3, MP4, or resolution settings.
- Terms acceptance — stored locally in your browser when you opt in or out.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Technical logs — such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, timestamps, and error reports. These help us keep the Service stable and secure.
- Job metadata — conversion status, selected format, and temporary file identifiers while a download is in progress.
- Local storage / cookies — we may store theme preference (light or dark mode) in your browser. This is not shared with third parties.
3.3 Information we do not collect
On this instance, Drippp does not require an account and does not collect:
- your phone number or contacts;
- the contents of your messages or personal files unrelated to a submitted URL;
- payment information (the Service is free on this instance); or
- long-term copies of downloaded media beyond the short temporary retention period described below.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- process your conversion requests and provide download links;
- monitor performance, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse;
- improve reliability and supported formats;
- comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
We may use aggregate, non-identifying statistics (for example, total conversions or common error types) to understand how the Service is used.
5. Temporary Files
Converted files are stored on the server only long enough for you to download them (currently about five minutes), then automatically deleted. We do not use your downloads to build a permanent library of your content.
6. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not share personal information with advertisers. We may disclose information when we believe it is necessary to:
- comply with law, regulation, or valid legal process;
- protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or us; or
- investigate abuse or security issues.
Fetching media requires contacting the third-party platform hosting the original content. Those requests are governed by that platform’s policies, not ours.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect information processed by the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk.
8. Third-Party Sites
The Service may reference or process content from external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their policies before submitting URLs or downloading content from them.
9. International Users
If you access Drippp from outside the country where this instance is hosted, your information may be processed on that server. Data-protection laws where the server is located may differ from those in your country.
10. Retention
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Temporary download files are deleted automatically. Server logs may be kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.
11. Your Choices
- You can clear local theme preferences by removing site data in your browser.
- You can stop using the Service at any time.
- You may request information about data associated with your use of this instance by contacting the operator.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact
Questions about this Privacy Policy or Drippp’s data practices may be directed through the contact options on the Drippp website.
